In Memory

Stacy Eliason

Stacy Eliason

Here is an obituary from French University, where she worked. I was hoping to see her at the 50 year reunion...

Stacy Ann Eliason left the world a better, although slightly dimmer in her absence, place on May 8, 2016. Born in Chicago, IL on November 2, 1953, Stacy offered love, kindness, and encouragement to all she knew. An exceptional dancer, singer, listener, thinker, and poet, Stacy made an indelible impact in the lives of everyone she loved.

Stacy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Albert and Audrey Eliason.

She is survived by her two younger brothers, Rob and Dane (Shona); her niece, Ana; her two daughters, Sara and Brianna (Josh) Aragon; and her grandson, Lochlan.

An irreplaceable friend, mother, and grandmother, Stacy's compassion, generosity, and intelligence will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.

Stacy and I were friends from Kindergarten on, when we were always placed together, being the two shortest in the class. But Stacy was never short on imagination or kindness. We were together again on the stage of Wilmot Jr. High for "The Sound of Music" where she played the youngest Von Trapp daughter, Gretel, and I played the next oldest, Marta. I am glad to see she lived such a rich and fulfilling life. - Diana Long

I too remember Stacy well.  Lunchtime was always fun and laughter with her!
