Steve was my dear friend and we stayed in touch, seeing each other occasionally after graduation. I hadn't talked to him in a couple of years when I called his mother in late 1981 to find him again and tell him I was expecting my first child. She asked me if I was sitting down, then told me he had recently passed away. He's been gone for almost 30 years now, but I still think of him often, fondly. Steve, you are missed.
