Penny passed in 2014 from breast cancer. She was living in Michigan and is survived by four daughters and eigh grandchildren. She was a registered nurse in the Battle Creek, MI area. Her husband died before her.

Penny was always someone who say "Hi" to you in the hallways when we were in high school. If you shared a class with her, she would greet you like a friend from then on. If a teacher organized her seating chart alphabetically, it was almost a guarentee that she and I would sit either in front or in back of one another. Since our "maiden" names were, Tate and Tayerlie, we often sat by each other. I'm so sorry to hear about her battle with breast cancer and her passing. Penny was friendly and kind and will be missed.
